2024.1.29 - Ribbon, Prize
Blue ribbon for First Prize at the Sixth Annual Nevada Potato, Apple and Livestock Show. The ribbon also has the following: "Aggie Day, University of Nevada, October 26-27; Presented by Nevada State Farm Bureau". The state seal is printed at the top of the ribbon. All writing and images are in gold, on a dark blue background. Circa 1950s/1960s.

Galvanized steel container, circa 1900-1929. Label on can is done in red, yellow and black. Printed on the label: One quart. Dr. Legear's Liquid Lice Killer, for lice and chicken mites on poultry, pigeons, etc. It is a great insecticide and germicide." Made by the American Can Co. in St. Louis, MO. Cylindar shaped can has a screw top.

2024.1.65 - Jug
Metal jug container, oblong shaped, made of rusted steel. Embossed on top: "Remove protective cap - punch both holes". Pour spout on top is a separate piece. Possibly used for spirits. Has spout and two puncture holes to pour from. Found in the Pine Nut Mountains above Dayton. Likely made between 1900-1940.

License plate add-on celebrating Nevada's centennial. Made of metal. Printed in white over a dark background: Nevada Centennial 1864 - 1964. The plates were obtained from the DMV.

2024.16.1 - Token
Token, aluminum, circa 1905-1915. Has scalloped edge. Engraved on token: "Odeon Hall Saloon, good for 10 at bar". It was the equivalent of $.10 (ten cents). It is 1" across in size and 1/16" thick. Item purchased by Linda Clements in 2012. Current value is approximately $65.

Folding camera with instruction book and tan leather case w/ shoulder strap. Circa 1948-1953. Serena May Simmons Tennant, Stony Tennant's mother, owned the camera and used it frequently. Foldex 20 camera, 1150 bulb, 86 mm Ocvar lens, Photak Corp., Chicago, IL. Used 120 mm or 620 film.
