Newspaper article dated November 17, 2021 - "Kay Winters celebrates 101st birthday in Dayton". From the Reno Gazette Journal (RGJ); article written by Laura Tennant, Guest Columnist. Ms. Winters was born in Washington in 1920, and later moved to Carson City, NV. She married John Winters, who owned a ranch in the area, in 1946. They moved to a ranch in Dayton in 1965. Along with the article, there is a color photo from a luncheon at Ms. Winters' home during the 1990's. In the photo are: John D. Winters, Sheila Winters, Laura Tennant, Rita Solmi [?], Kay Winters, May Walmsley, and Del Minor. Also included is a card from Kay to Laura Tennant, with a photo taken by Kay. |
