Large copy of a color photo of Lola Ann Gordon and Laura Tennant, in 2022. The photo was taken at a presentation to Carson Historical Society regarding living on Sutro's ranch. Both women had lived in Adolf Sutro's ranch house. Lola's mother, Francis, and three-year old Lola lived on the Heidenreich Ranch in Dayton (old Sutro Ranch) in 1938, along with Lola's brothers Roy, Edwin, and Henry. Laura Brantingham Tennant lived on the ranch in the 1950's while her husband Charles was in the military. The Heidenreich's were related by marriage to George Minor and family who bought out part of the ranch. Along with the photo is the pamplet for Lola's funeral in 2023. |
