Description |
Original black and white photo depicting several adults and teenagers. Some of the people are identified on the back of the photo. Also written on back: Santa Maria Day - on float - Aug. 1976. The float was designed by Del Minor. Also included is a photocopy of a newspaper article dated August 29, 1975, with a photo depicting the same scene & people as the original. Caption under the photo: "Top 4-H Club. The coveted Governor's Community Pride Award recently was presented to the 4-H Club of the community of Dayton which won statewide competition for painting the 100-year-old post office, erecting a fence around town hall and completing landscaping there. Accepting the plaque from Attny. Gen. Robert List on behalf of the club is Julie Minor, left." |
